A Pleasant Halloween

Celebrate Halloween with your fearsome furry friend at A Pleasant Dog, with festivities running all day long on Thursday, October 31st! Humans and pups are welcome to come in costume and enjoy a spooky photo op. If your dog doesn't enjoy dressing up, try getting festive with a special collar, harness, leash, or bandana instead! Bonus - enjoy $5 off of your second Halloween activity when you register for more than one!

Spooky Scentwork (9-11:30am): Try your paw at some Halloween themed nosework searches! Types of searches will include interiors, containers, and exteriors (weather permitting), containing 2-3 hides each (birch, anise, clove). Reserve your 15 minute time slot before they run out! This activity is designed for dogs with prior Nosework experience, but if you're new just let us know and we can do a quick beginner lesson instead. $25. *Reactive dog friendly!*

Tricks & Treats Training Workshop (12pm): Want to get in a little training to burn some energy before the trick-or-treaters come tonight? Join us for this 60 minute training workshop where we'll practice working around some spooky distractions, and learn some Halloween themed tricks! This workshop is for dogs who are comfortable working around other dogs and people. Please bring your dog to class on a regular leash (no extendable leashes please) and a harness or flat collar, and some treats your dog likes. Dogs must be up to date on vaccines (parvo, leptospirosis, distemper, rabies, bordetella, canine influenza) and have a clean fecal sample on file within the past 6 months. $35. 

Halloween Paw Print Painting (5-7:30pm): Treat yourself to some artistic fun with your dog! We'll provide the paints and canvas, you provide the dog and their adorable paws. One of our trainers will help you and your dog collaborate on a seasonal design and you'll have a spooky sweet keepsake to take home! Reserve your 20 minute time slot before this event is full! $25. *Reactive dog friendly!*
