Our Pleasant Puppy Programs all in one place!

Step one? Please contact us via phone or send us an email to see if any of these programs are a good fit for your puppy. The gold standard is a private session (to address your priorities and head off problem behaviors before they start) for every puppy, together with a group Puppy 101 class.

To be on the premises we require all dogs be up to date on the following vaccines (at age appropriate times): Distemper, Leptospirosis, Canine Influenza, Bordetella, Rabies and a clean fecal sample (done within the past 6 months) on file with your vet, as your dog may meet some of our faculty dogs during the evaluation, and we want to make sure everyone is as safe as possible.

$25 - private play party (15 min)

Get to know your puppy's play style with stable adult dogs and determine the next steps for your puppy's dog socialization! These mini sessions are the entry point into our puppy play program. Note: Group play is not for every puppy. Some puppies are too aroused or too nervous to benefit from group play. If this is your puppy, never fear - we will help you to work toward the appropriate next socialization step for your puppy!

puppy grooming introduction

It's important to start preparing your puppy for grooming early on and we are here to help! This 15 minute introductory session allows your puppy to have a positive experience in our grooming room with our force free groomer and practice skills such as getting on the grooming table, getting into the bathtub, and general handling comfort. We strongly recommend scheduling one (or several!) of these sessions while your pup is still young, and before they actually need to be groomed. Our groomer can also give you some tips for maintenance at home in between grooming visits!

puppy day camp

$300 for four weeks - call or email us to register!

For puppies under six months of age.
One half day per week, Four total weeks.

[Wednesday AM]; drop off at 8 am | pick up from 10am - 10:30am

Your puppy will be in a group with other puppies and will play and be exposed to new stimuli and socialization opportunities including stable adult dogs when appropriate. Each day of camp, puppies will receive 15 minutes of personalized, one-on-one training with one of our trainers to work on fundamental skills, as well as socialization and play instruction throughout the camp. Our puppy to faculty ratio is four to one!

Total cost is $300 for four weeks

Lucky Puppy package: Includes one puppy camp (4 weeks), our puppy 101 group class (6 weeks), and puppy mini groom session. As well as either a Freedom No-Pull brand or Balance by Blue 9 harness (which can be exchanged for a $20 discount on your next harness as your puppy grows!), a puppy Kong, one (1) treat bag from our shop of your choosing, a $10 gift certificate off your next service at APD, and our iconic "Reactive Dogs are Good Dogs Too" tote!

Pleasant Puppy package: Includes one puppy camp (4 weeks), our puppy 101 group class ( 6weeks), a puppy mini groom session, one private lesson, and one puppy adventure camp.
